The Volunteer of the Week for this week is Mary Smith of Washington, who enjoys helping other people and doing anything she can to brighten their day.
Where or with whom do you volunteer?
The Salvation Army Family Store.
What do you do/make there?
I volunteer to help do whatever is needed in the store or warehouse. I enjoy sorting and hanging clothes, sorting and pricing household items, but most of all I enjoy working with the people here.
How long have you been a volunteer?
Two years.
Why is it important to be a volunteer?
So you can help out the community and others in need.
Do you do other volunteer work?
Not at this time.
Where do you work? If retired, where did you work before retiring?
I work at Wal-Mart.
