Maggie Marie “Ree” Johnson Jones, 78, of 31 Jones St., Vandemere, died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012, at her residence. The family will receive friends at the residence. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the New Bern Eastern Missionary Baptist Association Headquarters Building, Grantsboro, with the Pastor Joyce Respers, officiating. Interment will follow in Hudnell Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. Tuesday at Rivers-Morgan Funeral Home, 701 West St., New Bern, and one hour prior to the funeral service Wednesday at the Headquarters Building.
