The Bath High School Class of 1967 met Sept. 15, at Flair by Sharon to celebrate their 45th graduation anniversary. Attendees included 26 classmates and 14 spouses and guests.
The dining room had an abundance of lighted trees, ferns, and assorted greenery arrangements.  The tables had maroon and white linens, which were the school colors, and arrangements of mixed flowers. The buffet table and memorial area also had matching linen and floral arrangements.
The celebration began with a social hour as guests enjoyed hors d’oeures, remembered their high school years, and discussed current topics.  A slide show presentation of classmate pictures of their school years and prior class reunions ran during the social hour.
Marty Alligood gave a blessing for the food. Following the meal, Dwain Perry, class president and reunion chairperson, presided over the celebration. He pointed out that 26 classmates were attending out of the 34 still living. He then recognized and thanked the team helping him plan and prepare the celebration.  Team members included Rita Waters Lee, Barbara Cox Woolard and Marty Alligood. Lenora Perry was also recognized for providing a significant contribution on the slide show presentations and the reunion invitations. The group then enjoyed a slide show presentation of “Our Journey Through High School.” The slide show, prepared by Lenora and Dwain Perry, symbolized the class’s four years of high school and incorporated the appropriate music titled “Remember When,” “Through the Years” and “Angels Among Us.”
Following the video, Marty Alligood remembered deceased members by lighting a candle in honor of each classmate. Deceased classmates include James Everett, David Boyd, Faye Woolard, Jerry Woolard, Barbara Wallace Godwin, Shelton Ormond, Thelma Jefferson Alligood, Barbara Bright Boyd, Larry Woolard, Billie Gray Tankard, Dorothy Shepherd Keffer and Gary Cutler. Following a prayer for the deceased classmates, Alligood remembered deceased spouses and children of classmates.
Following the memorial service, classmates shared interesting events and happenings in their lives.  Dwain Perry led the group through a review of all the previous class reunions. Nine classmates were recognized for having attended all of the reunions. Jade Moore Harris volunteered to serve as chairperson for the 50th year reunion in 2017. Rita Waters Lee, Barbara Cox Woolard, Eunice Tankard Robbins, Terry Kay Woolard, Vera Harris Hollowell and Ellen Edwards Heck will serve as team members. Door prizes were distributed to 10 lucky classmates winning the by-chance drawing. The table arrangements were also awarded to class members by continuing the drawing. The celebration adjourned and classmates, spouses, and guests received gift bags upon departing.
