Shelia Gibbs Brooks of Chocowinity, N.C., and Sylvester Rogers of Washington, N.C., are announcing their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
The bride is the daughter of Audrie G. Gibbs of Washington and the late Dennis L. Gibbs.
The bridegroom-elect is the son of Sudie Adkins of Washington and Roanoke S. Lennex of Chesapeake, Va.
The couple will exchange vows Saturday, November 17, 2012, at 3:00 o’clock in the Temple of Jesus Christ Fellowship Hall.
