Sound Off highlights anonymous, brief takes on the news offered via telephone by Daily News readers.

In reference to the selling of the Quick Start II building, I wish to express my personal congratulations to our county commissioners on the completion of another excellent economic-development project, conducted behind closed doors, of course. That will create 35 new jobs. I encourage every citizen to be sure to remember this accomplishment and how much each job cost the taxpayers when they vote to re-elect any current county commissioner.

I’m not watching the debates. I done made up my mind. I’m voting for …  the lesser of two evils.

I think we need to recall every single county commissioner who voted to sell our property for a $.1 million loss. If my business ran that way or any business ran that way, we’d be a ghost town.

The Gang of Five didn’t sell Quick Start II. It was the Gang of Six.
