Sound Off highlights anonymous, brief takes on the news offered via telephone by Daily News readers.

I await with eager anticipation the logic the City Council will use to justify support of the Turnage Theater again. Did the City Council just not tell us taxpayers it had to reduce the number of city employees, was unable to afford a new police station, had to give the city 911 system to the sheriff’s office and could not afford a backup generator for the Jack’s Creek pumps because the city does not have the money for these essential services? Give me a break.
