Students from Southside High School volunteered at the Beaufort County Tricentennial Celebration on Sept. 22. The students helped by passing out soft drinks and information packets about Beaufort County, setting up tents and tables, unloading equipment and filling bags with birdseed. They also participated in the opening ceremony by carrying American flags in a procession.
