If someone wants the Turnage Theater to re-open, let him buy it himself and not with our tax money.

All my life, I’ve said Beaufort County was God’s country. We’ve always looked for the good in each other and helped one another. We’ve never deliberately set out to destroy one another for any reason. When a man destroys his neighbor, he hurts his own image, his family and his entire community. Where is the Golden Rule today? Where is God’s word “do not bear false witness against thy neighbor?” Romans 13:9-10. Love your neighbor as yourself. Love does no harm to a neighbor. Men, straighten up or the women will have to take your jobs. Vote on Nov. 6.
