Boston to participate in pageant

Iyanna Boston of Plymouth was recently selected to participate in the 2013 Miss Jr. Pre-Teen Raleigh pageant competition which will be held Sunday, Nov. 11. Iyanna submitted an application and took part in an interview session conducted by this year’s Raleigh pageant coordinator. The winner of the title of Miss Jr. Pre-Teen Raleigh will compete in the National Competition which will take place in Orlando, Fla.
Iyanna, daughter of Gregory and Angela H. Boston of Plymouth, is the granddaughter of Andrew Holley of Washington and the late Verna Mills Holley. Her paternal grandparents are Daniel and Flora Boston of Plymouth.
