Sound Off highlights anonymous, brief takes on the news offered via telephone by Daily News readers.

I would like to say please quit changing the time two times a year. There’s no need of it. Let’s keep it on one time. It would be a whole lot easier and save money.

I just want to say that it’s true everyone has an opinion, but I just never knew how selfish and one-sided people could be until I started reading Sound Off. Why don’t folks just thank God for what you have, pray for others and, the main thing: just get a life.

I see in a Sound Off that somebody thinks the Coast Guard is wasting its time and money looking for the captain of the Bounty. That person needs to ask somebody who has been rescued by the Coast Guard if he or she thinks they Coast Guard’s wasting time and money. This person, evidently, isn’t much of a seagoing person.

An “Amen” to that Sound Off about Billy Graham and taxes. I’ve never understood why churches don’t have to pay taxes. If Billy Graham wants to get involved in politics, well, he should lose his tax-exempt status. Any church, any preacher involved in politics, says one word about politics, should have to pay taxes. Amen, amen, to whoever called that in.
