Sound Off highlights anonymous, brief takes on the news offered via telephone by Daily News readers.

I want to let you know that I think you guys have done the best job I have ever seen since I’ve been in Washington on this … special election version. This is a fantastic service to the people in this community, and I hope it goes over for years to come. And I just cannot praise you enough for as much as I think you have done for the public in letting people know about the candidates and the voting process.

This election preview edition that you printed is the best public service thing you have done in ages.

Anybody else tired of these robo-calls for politicians over and over and over again. They call from 7 in the morning to 12 o’clock at night. And you know what? I wish there was a way to cut them off. I’m tired of these robo-calls from these politicians because there ain’t a lick of difference between either one.
