Nice work with special edition

Published 9:05pm Friday, November 9, 2012

To the Editor:
I’d agree with the sound-off comments that the paper’s Election Day edition was very good idea, especially as an incentive to urge people who had not yet voted to vote. Having voted early — as your editorials urged — the timing of these profiles as well as the earlier ones gave me some buyer’s remorse. In particular, I found the profiles on the county commissioners and school board candidates enlightening.
In the future, I would like to urge the paper to run the candidate profiles earlier, timed with early voting. Also, you might consider adding profiles for the judicial candidates.
Keep up the good work!
