Sound Off highlights anonymous, brief takes on the news offered via telephone by Daily News readers.

I’m calling to tell you that Monday’s paper was fantastic. It was great to have all the election news in there. Unfortunately, it would have been much better to have had it before Oct. 18 and early elections. Think about that next time.

It was sad to see the party of Abraham Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt lose so badly again. If the GOP is going to be successful in the future, we must vomit out the fear and hatred of the tea party.

Just a little tip when moving into an apartment complex — more than one floor — be careful of the noise you make, be considerate, be alert about people around you. When you move into an apartment complex, your neighbor will hear you, unless the walls are super thick, when you fight, when you yell, when you laugh, when you practice your guitar. Just trying to diffuse situations before the landlord gets called, or the sheriff’s department or someone gets evicted. Moving into an apartment complex is not like living in your own home. You’ve got neighbors to worry about and you need to think about them when you make noise. I’m not saying walk around on eggshells, but don’t do the stupid stuff that would get the landlord called in, or the sheriff’s department or get yourself evicted. Be alert of your surroundings and especially the young people just getting their first taste of freedom. It’s not a path to party all day and all night. Thank you and God bless.
