Over 30 friends and family members attended the community remembrance and evening prayer service at All Saints’ Episcopal Church Nov. 4 in Fairfield. The annual service recognizes those in the Hyde County community who have died since the last All Saints’ Day (Nov. 1). The service was led by the Rev. Jim Lupton, priest in charge of St. George’s Episcopal Church in Lake Landing. Janet Russ and organist Clare Baum assisted Lupton in the service, which has been held annually for several years in the historic All Saints’ church dating from 1885-1890.
