Thurman Norman, 74, a resident of 2868 Backwoods Road, Roper, died Tuesday at home. A funeral will be held at noon Saturday at  Shiloh Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) with Vice-Bishop Daniel Gilliam officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday at Shiloh Church of Christ and other times at the home. Arrangements are by Toodle’s Funeral Home, Plymouth.
