Mr. and Mrs. Charlie N. Popperwill of Grimesland, N.C., announce the birth of their daughter, Gracyn Ellis Popperwill on October 18, 2012, at Vidant Beaufort Hospital.
Gracyn weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces, and measured 19 inches in length. She has a brother, Gavin Popperwill. The mother is the former Melissa Ree Modlin.
Maternal grandparents are Bud and Linda Modlin of Pinetown, N.C.
Paternal grandparents are Robert and Ruby Popperwill of Grimesland, N.C.
Great-grandparents are the late Harry and Myrtle Sawyer; the late Willie and Margaret Modlin; the late Robert and Etta Popperwill, and Gretchen and the late Lonnie Carawan.
