Theresa Jones Morris Garner, affectionately known as “Lady” by family and friends, died Friday, November 16, 2012 at home at the age of 82.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Pollock-Best Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Dixon and the Rev. David Salmons officiating. Burial will follow at Greenleaf Memorial Park.

She is survived by four sons, Roy P. Morris and wife Sadie, Robert A. Morris, Willie P. Morris and wife Pearl, and Carl H. Morris; one daughter, Betty M. Florez and husband Tony; one brother, William E. Jones and wife Margie; two sisters, Opal Carawan and Rosa Simpson Parsons; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; two very special friends, Charlotte Daniels and Shirlene Parker; and her beloved puppy, “Sweetpea.”

The family will receive friends just prior to the service from 12 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Friends are also invited to share condolences and sign the online guest book by visiting www.pollockbest.com.
