How can we expect our young folks to learn proper grammar when even their role models don’t speak correctly? There were two obvious errors in Coach Sport Sawyer’s otherwise good interview reported in Saturday’s Washington Daily News. Couldn’t you somehow have printed a corrected version of the conversation?

The wreaths on Stewart Parkway are absolutely beautiful. We need to add to those each year so that we can just put them everywhere. It really makes for a Christmas atmosphere. Good work to those who were involved.
