The store in Greenville called Twice as Nice is closing, but it has nothing to do with the store here in Washington on Main Street. The owner of the Washington store has been there 19 years, and she’s not going anywhere. Many people believe she’s closing, and we don’t want it to affect her business.

Each year, companies or stores in our town make big, big money off of Christmas sales, but yet they don’t want to say “Merry Christmas.” Think about it. If Christ hadn’t been born, then we wouldn’t have Christmas and you wouldn’t be making a lot of money. So, put Christ back in Christmas where it’s supposed to be.
