The Southside High School Student Government Association held its annual trim-a-tree party before school Nov. 27. SGA members worked together to assemble and decorate the tree within 20 minutes. Chynna Bonner, SGA advisor, said, “It was lots of fun to see them enjoying each other and exhibiting teamwork skills.” Walmart of Washington donated the 6.5-foot Windham pine and teal and gold decorations. Holiday treats were distributed courtesy of the SGA. Shown are (standing, L-R): Rick Anderson, SHS principal; Tiffany Philbeck; Kyle White; (kneeling) Courtney Taylor King; Urias Hernandez; Mary Moore; Katie Boyd; and Danita Gibbs. (Submitted Photo)
