Students in Joannie Kellum’s physical education classes at Eastern Elementary School have been working out using the parachute. It’s a great activity that works the body and the mind. Children also learn the concept of teamwork. Kindergarten and first-graders participated in a variety of games with music that included “Bumping and Jumping,” “Mountain High,” “Parachute Rollerball,” “Merry-Go-Round” and “Stomp the Waves.” Pictured are students from Lindsay Haddock’s kindergarten class.
