Jaysion Zaynize Bailey was the first baby born in 2013 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital. Jaysion was delivered by Dr. Thomas Andrews of Vidant Women’s Care Washington on Jan. 2 at 10:49 a.m. It is an annual tradition that the hospital volunteers put together a gift basket for the family of the first baby of the new year.
