A new sign with safety messages that will change from month to month was placed in front of Washington Fire Station 2 so that it can be viewed by passing traffic. The purchase of the sign was made possible by a donation to the fire department from Harvest Church. The department wanted to use the funds to give back to community, and the placement of this sign, like the one at Fire Station 1, will provide valuable safety information for passersby. The design of the sign and construction were by the efforts of Division Chief Jasper Hardison and Hudson Signs.
