I’m sick and tired and disgusted with the continuous ignorant actions of some our county commissioners. They have no desire to represent the people of Beaufort County. they want to control every aspect of county government. How can four county commissioners make a resolution for all of Beaufort County without representation from the people of Beaufort County? Do we live in a democracy, or are these commissioners the law, the judge and jury? These misled commissioners do not speak for me. Something has to be done to curb the violence and death of our citizens by military-like firearms. I wonder how these commissioners would feel if their sons and daughters were gunned down? Beaufort County has great potential to do great things, but it will never go forward as long as these power-hungry commissioners continue to rule.

 

Walter Williams deserves a column everyday in this paper. He makes a lot of sense.
