FOOD FUNDRAISER: The Student Government Association at Chocowinity Middle School sold candy canes just before the winter break to raise money for Eagle’s Wings Food Pantry and the Beaufort County Food Bank. Students were able to purchase candy canes during their lunches from SGA members. SGA members then delivered these candy canes with a note or as a surprise from the purchaser. The group earned more than $170 in a week to help feed needy families.
