I’m reading that “Bluegrass Brothers” article on the front page of the Washington Daily News on Friday, and it says they’re performing at 7:30 p.m. at Washington High School. It just doesn’t say what day. Can you let us know what day that happens?

Note” The Abrams Brothers’ concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Washington High School’s Performing Arts Center.

 

Build the jail at the industrial park? That is the dumbest thing that the county commissioners have ever done. and they’ve done some dumb ones. I thought we wanted to draw people to the industrial park, not drive them off. Who in their right mind would build a business right beside a jail? How dumb is the person who came up with the idea? What are going to do, keep on until we kill Beaufort County with those county commissioners? Listen, people, something’s got to be done and be done now. Don’t build a jail there. Why not build it at the courthouse, where court is held? Good Lord, look at the sensibility of things. Get your head out of the sand.
