CHECKERED-FLAGS FLY: First Christian Church’s Cub Scout Pack 21 held its Pinewood Derby on Feb. 22.  Tiger Cub top finishers were (first place) Nolan Dixon, first place; Tanner Tyer, second place and Dylan Walcott, third place. Wolf Cub den top finishers were Leighton Blount, first place; David Wallace, second place and Reid Apple, third place. Bear Cub top finishers were Methias Risner, first place, Matthew Clark, second place and Joel Puskas. Third place. Weblos top finishers were Ethan Carrow, first place, and Dylan Clark, second place. Seamus Sullivan took the best-in-show award for the design of his car. The winners advance to the district competition at Bear Grass Charter School on March 9.
