Estuarium volunteers repair birdhouse

WINTER IN THE TROPICS: North Carolina Estuarium volunteers Dick Lasher and Donald Smith brave the cold winds to paint and repair the purple martin birdhouse last week. The purple martins will return to their same home each year after wintering in Brazil. Martins have nested at the Estuarium for the past 10 years.
