Jeff and Jamie Walker of Farmville, N.C. are proud to announce the engagement of their son, Jeffrey Landon Walker, to Kayla Anne Strayer.  The bride-elect is the daughter of Jeff and Lori Strayer of Farmville, N.C.

Grandparents of the groom are Mary Jean Walker of Washington and the late Aubrey Walker and Shorty and Jo Stancil of Middlesex, N.C.

Grandparents of the bride are Donald Strayer of Montoursville, PA and the late Patricia Strayer and Barbara Williams of Forty Fort, PA and the late Donald Williams.
The couple graduated from Farmville Central High School in 2006 and East Carolina University in 2010. The groom-elect is a teacher and coach at Washington High School.  The bride-elect is a math teacher at Farmville Middle School.
A July 20, 2013 wedding is planned at Rock Springs Center in Greenville.
