PAMLICO PEOPLE: Dear inducted into Alpha Chi National Honor Society

ST. LOUIS, MO – Washington native Serena Dear, a student at Missouri Baptist University, has been inducted into Alpha Chi, a national coeducational honor society that promotes and honors academic excellence and exemplary character among university students. Members are students from all academic disciplines who comprise the top 10 percent of the junior and the senior classes.

Dear is a senior who is majoring in psychology.  She received the President’s Citation at Missouri Baptist University for the 2012 fall semester. Semester honors recognize full-time undergraduate students on the Honor Roll and Dean’s List and those receiving the President’s Citation. The citation honors qualified students who have achieved a perfect 4.0 grade point average during the semester.
