The Beaufort County Community College Foundation played host to about two dozen retired BCCC employees at lunch at the college on April 16. The former employees heard a presentation from Dr. Ed Wilson on the 50th anniversary of the state community college system and had a chance to meet BCCC President Barbara Tansey. Pictured above, Valerie Buck, right, retired lead cosmetology instructor, and Sharon Everett, retired cosmetology instructor, both of Washington, share a light moment with retired BCCC President David McLawhorn. “BCCC was delighted to welcome back to campus our dedicated retired employees who gave of their time and talents over the years to help our students succeed,” said Dr. Tansey. “I hope they will come back to visit us again soon.”
