GREENVILLE — Mary passed this earthly home to her heavenly home May 7, 2013.  She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Steve Beddard and wife Cathy, Lindsay Victor Beddard and wife Kay, and two grandchildren, Jared and Kelsey. She is also survived by her brother Kenneth Rex Wainright and wife Louise. Surviving also is a sister-in-law Virginia Wainright. She has many nieces and nephews that were very special to her. Her parents were Fred and Lucy Wainright.

Mary had many family and friends that she often called and talked for hours. She was always concerned about their health and concerns. She was eager to send cards to them for all occasions.

She was one of thirteen siblings. She is preceded in death by Herman Wainright, Marvin Wainright, Horace Wainright, Dessie Harris, Margaret Murphy, and Annie Ree Yelverton. She had five others that died at childbirth or later at a young age.

Mary’s professional life included working at JC Penney’s, DuPont, Avon sales, FCX, Washington Eye Clinic, Greenville Eye Clinic, Ferrell Gas, and most importantly raising two boys.

In earlier years Mary experienced breast cancer and became a true survivor. She never gave up and battled it with her Christian faith and perseverance.

Mary was a member of Bethany Free Will Baptist Church. She was also an active member of Women of the Moose. She held several positions that provided support for Mooseheart.

The family wishes to thank all her friends and family for their prayers and kindness shown during her illness, especially Dr. Will Gay and his compassionate staff.
