Sound Off, July 2, 2013

It sounds like, from what I’ve read about the Beaufort County jail, that if they don’t build a new jail or something the county commissioners are going to be deciding where they’re going to put a new courthouse.

Bartow Houston’s Write Again column is right again. The Washington Daily News is a paper for local news. I want to know about the local area since that is where I live. Granted, there are a few punctuation/grammatical errors now and again, but it does cover local topics and cover them well. Many syndicated columns/comics have been cut, but I suspect they will be reinstated if and when finances allow. We have a local paper that covers local news. Sounds good to me.
