Yes, this in response to the remarks in the July 26 Sound Off. To the person that works at the pharmaceutical company: I’m not sure what kind of research they know about teachers, but I’m confused about the “free” benefits that come with being a teacher. Until you’ve walked in the shoes of a teacher, you have no idea what that job is. Thank you.

It’s quite sad, but every time I see somebody that has caught a good fish, it is done in Blounts Creek. And now it looks like those days are over. It doesn’t take much to pollute a creek and Marion Marietta are the ones that are going to definitely do it if their permit is allowed. Let’s hope that PTRF is strong enough to stop that.
