I would like to thank Bill Cook for his long hours of service in the General Assembly and for his commitment to protecting the most weak and vulnerable among us — the unborn — and also acting for the welfare and safety of women who choose abortion.

 

Who in their right mind would want to put the new jail in the industrial park in Chocowinity? How stupid can our county commissioners be?

 

I agree with column by Bill Sykes concerning the waterfront docks. The mayor and his administration are clueless when it comes to running the docks. Their incompetence is stunning. A good example of this are the temporary bathrooms that were put in 10 years ago. Unbelievable.
