Gilbert and Cindy Smithwick of Ponzer announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Teresa “Tess” Carol Smithwick to Christopher Glenn Smith, the son of Heidi Jernigan Smith of Bath and the late John Bry Smith.

Tess is the granddaughter of William, Sr. and LaRue Sawyer of Ponzer and the late Gerald and Norma Smithwick.

Christopher is the grandson of Patricia Voorhis of Schenectady, NY.

The couple will exchange vows on Sept. 28, 2013.
