Mrs. Lou Ellen Early Swindell, 88, of 402 S. Queen St., Windsor, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013, at Vidant Bertie Hospital. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, at Edgewood Cemetery with the Rev. Rev. J. N. Baggett officiating. Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013, at the home of Martha Early, 311 S. Queen St., Windsor. Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home, Windsor.
