Mr. Alexander “Alec” Johnston, 65, a resident of Chocowinity, died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013, at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville. A celebration of Mr. Johnston’s life will be held later at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo, N.Y. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington, which is in charge of arrangements.
