Eastern students practice counting

EVERYTHING COUNTS: Students in Gina Resendez’s kindergarten class at Eastern Elementary practice sorting and counting. Students have been sorting and counting fruit loops, fall candy corn, shapes, and Unifix cubes, among other items. Resendez said, “Learning to count is important in kindergarten and students especially love doing it when they get to eat their items afterward.”
