I was stunned to read Fred Bonner’s Oct. 10 article in which he advocates trespassing. He is encouraging people to set up camp to fish because locating the landowner of a nice area might take too much time. And I’m appalled that your newspaper would print such an unlawful suggestion. If my father had found someone in a tent on our farm, that person would’ve found himself on the wrong end of a gun.

This is for the few people that think Hood Richardson should get out. My feeling is, if it wasn’t for him, our tax dollars would be a lot higher. So keep up the good work, Mr. Hood.

I, too, used to enjoy eating at the picnic table at the waterfront. And I was really upset when they moved the table. I always cleaned up my paper products behind myself. Some people didn’t. I always did. I think it’s a shame that they put all this money in the waterfront and it’s only there for looks. It’s not usable. You can’t use it.
