It is time to evaluate the many events, races, et cetera, held along Stewart Parkway, East Main, Water Street. People can’t eat at the restaurants or shop because those areas are either closed off or there’s no parking available. Many taxpayer residents return home to find they have nowhere to park. Everything where they normally park is taken. Would you have everyone along the streets just move to the country and just cater to people who just visit once in a while for events? When residents move, consider all the taxes they pay in frequenting the shops and restaurants year round, not just once in a while. You are considering the wrong people in terms of economic development.
