WHAT A CHARACTER: Third-grade students at John C. Tayloe School had fun participating in Character Day on Oct. 31. Students were allowed to dress up as their favorite character from a book. The students paraded through the school to let everyone see their special costumes. Pictured are Liam Ball, dressed as the Cat in the Hat; Journee Boston, from Old MacDonald’s farm, and Imani Reddick, as a character from Fancy Nancy’s Fancy Words ; Davis Lee, Anna Claire Bilbro in Huckleberry Finn gear and Jesus Segovia as Flat Stanley.
