Another chapter for book club

A READING MILESTONE: Hannah Roberson Bagwell, seated, and Pat Capehart Brown celebrate the 60th anniversary of Washington’s Stratford Book Club. They are the only two charter members who are active in the club today.
The celebration was held Sept. 19 at the home of Mrs. Bagwell.  Accompanying them were 11 other active members of the club who have joined the group since its first meeting 60 years ago.  All members at the celebration wore 1950s attire and stories reminiscing the club’s founding were shared at the meeting.
