Mr. Larry Josh Edwards, age 66, a resident of 1174 Black Oak Drive, Grimesland, died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, at Vidant Inpatient Hospice.

Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington, conducted by Pastor J. T. Edwards.

Mr. Edwards was born in Beaufort County on April 28, 1947, to the late Charlie and Julia Clark Edwards. He was a self-employed carpenter.

Survivors include one son, Chris Edwards and wife Mary Jo of Grimesland; three brothers, Michael Edwards of Grimesland, Don Edwards of High Point, Dwight Edwards of Chocowinity; two sisters, Christine Hill of Newport and Judy Edwards; a grandson, Clint Edwards and a great-grandchild, Maddie Edwards.

Mr. Edwards was preceded in death by one son, Clark Edwards, and one brother, Louis Edwards.
