Published 3:25pm Monday, January 27, 2014

Beaufort County Schools just announced that all county schools will be closed to students and 10-month staff Tuesday. Twelve-month staff will leave at noon Tuesday.

According to BCS Public Information Officer Sarah Hodges, Wednesday’s schedule is undecided.

“We’ll just have to wait and see what’s falling,” Hodges said.

She said the schools will probably make a decision for Wednesday by Tuesday midday.

“I imagine we’ll know before we leave at noon,” Hodges said.

Due to the pending inclement weather, Beaufort County Community College also announced it will be closed for students and faculty on Tuesday, Wednesday and  Thursday. Classes are cancelled for those days for students, faculty and staff.
