DAVID BAKER WHITLEY

 

David Baker Whitley, Major USAFR, retired, age 73, died on November 4, 2012, at Effort PA.

Interment will be 11 a.m. on Good Friday, April 18, 2014, at Oakdale Cemetery in Washington, Nc, officiated by Dr. Michael Price.

Maj. Whitley was the husband of Dr. Nancy Nolan Whitley, formerly of Morrisville, Pa.  He graduated from NC State (BSEE, 1961) and the Polytechnic Institute of NY, now NYU-Poly (MS in Specialized Journalism, 1985).  Maj. Whitley served on active duty in the Air Force during the Vietnam era.  He later worked as a technical writer for Union Carbide and Praxair Corporation in various locations in New Jersey and western New York.
