GREENVILLE — U.S. Cellular has named Doug Cate area sales manager for U.S. Cellular in eastern North Carolina.

Cate will lead the sales teams at eleven U.S. Cellular stores in Elizabeth City, Goldsboro, Greenville, Henderson, Roanoke Rapids, Rocky Mount, Washington, Williamston, Wilson and Winterville. He has more than 14 years of wireless experience.

“Doug is passionate about providing the best experience for our customers,” said Jeremy Taylor, director of sales for U.S. Cellular in eastern North Carolina. “He is a proven leader that will lead our associates in giving our customers the unique experience of being treated like a neighbor and not just a number, with a valuable rewards program that recognizes loyalty.”

Cate most recently served as a store manager for U.S. Cellular in New Hampshire.

He holds both a bachelor of arts and a master’s degree in business management from Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, N.H. Cate lives in Winterville with his wife and two children.
