BEAUFORT COUNTY SCHOOLS | CONTRIBUTED
FBLA CONFERENCE: Washington High School students involved in the Future Business Leaders of America attended the NC FBLA State Leadership Conference, in Greensboro, NC at the Sheraton at Four Seasons, in March. Over 1800 students from across the state attended along with another 400 advisers and guests. The students attended workshops, testing sessions, election campaigns and networked with students from other schools. The following members reached the finals and were recognized and awarded, on stage, during the closing session: Erin Lewis, Top 10, recognition testing, Multimedia & Webpage Design High School; Christoper Maye, Top 10, Computer Applications; McKenzie Worley, Top 10, Future Business Leader; Jordan Squires, Top 10, Spreadsheet Applications High School; McKenzie Worley, 3rd Place, Who’s Who in FBLA. Worley will be attending Nationals as a representative of the Southern Board of FBLA June 29 –July 2 in Nashville TN.
