County helping tornado victims Christian duty

Published 4:13pm Monday, May 26, 2014

To the Editor:

I was watching WITN news at 5:30 p.m. on May 21, 2014, Dave Jordan reported that the cost to pick up the (tornado) destruction materials in the county would cost about $300,000. I think that it is the least we could to do help these people. That is about $10 per citizen of Beaufort County. Some of these people lost everything.

Where is your Christian love and heart for your fellow man? Let’s do something to help them and do not kick them any farther down.

I will bet if it was one of the county commissioners or department heads that lost everything, they would feel different. Help these people, they are Christian brothers and sisters. Help them!

God Bless,
