Poppy sales and Tractor Supply, June 8, 2014

Published 10:14pm Saturday, June 7, 2014

To the Editor:

Recently, the local chapter of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 6088, held an observance of Memorial Day by conducting a “Poppy” sale. We do this twice a year. This year, we set up our display and sold “poppies” in front of the local Tractor Supply Store. We did extremely well with our sales, but what really impressed us was the fabulous support we received from the management of the store. They literally set us up and did whatever we asked for. And we wish to use this letter as a means of expressing our appreciation for the staff of the Tractor Supply Store and for the support of so many customers that were at the store that day. Again, our deepest thanks to the staff and management of Tractor Supply.

Commander, Post 6088
